We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant 2 to support centralized Human Resources operations within a fast-paced HR Service Center environment. This role requires strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance regulations, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in an HR-related discipline and a strong customer service mindset.
This is a temporary, full-time opportunity supporting HR Services Employee Programs.
Provide centralized HR services spanning payroll, benefits, and employee transactions
Respond to inquiries via phone and case management tools in a high-volume environment
Administer employee benefits, including open enrollment and qualifying life event changes
Maintain and audit employee records to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards (COBRA, ERISA, etc.)
Process new hires, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations
Monitor and maintain performance appraisal systems
Coordinate and support new hire orientation programs
Assist with recruitment processes, employment agreements, and job descriptions
Conduct regular audits of HR service delivery processes and documentation
Partner with HRIS teams and HR program managers to improve operational efficiency
Participate in training development and delivery for HR staff
Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive employee and company data
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience (2:1 experience substitution ratio)
Minimum three (3) years of experience in an HR-related discipline
Minimum two (2) years of office/clerical support experience in HR
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, state and federal regulations
Experience with HR systems and case management tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
