Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.32/hr to $33.52/hr. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $30.32/hr. to $52.25/hr.

Brief Summary of Job Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition & Emeriti-Retiree Programs in Human Resources, the HR Compliance and Policy Project Lead coordinates, oversees, and tracks project activities to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives focused on the staff employment misconduct disclosure and personnel file review processes. As a professional who applies acquired job skills and policies, the analyst conducts analytical studies of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research, and procedural issues. The professional fully analyzes problems, gathers data, evaluates alternatives, and makes sound recommendations. As the HR Compliance and Policy Project Lead, this role serves as the central point of contact coordinating with Talent Acquisition, Title IX, Employee & Labor Relations, Ethics & Compliance, and other departments to manage the UC Staff Misconduct and UC Allegations Review Process, as well as the personnel file review for UC internal candidates, for UC Santa Barbara. This position partners with department leadership to identify and manage issues and risks to ensure centralized misconduct vetting compliance goals are achieved and UC internal candidates' personnel files reviewed. #LI-KA1
