Job Title: HR Compliance Advisor -- EEO 
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Newark, NJ 07102

Hybrid. 2 days/week in office at 80 Park Plaza, Newark NJ | Thursdays and one day flex) but prefers the days in office to align with the manager's schedule.

Schedule: Mon-Fri (9am-5pm EST.)

Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a key player in ensuring compliance and fostering an inclusive workplace. You will work closely with senior HR consultants and managers to enhance our Workplace Accommodations Program and EEO compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years' experience; open to less experience (5 years) with a Master's degree, or 10 years' experience for candidates without a degree.
  • SAP experience and advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), SharePoint.
  • Strong communication skills with familiarity in EEOC, affirmative action, and OFCCP.
  • Analytical skills for ad hoc reporting, labor market data, turnover metrics, diversity metrics.
  • Experience with workplace accommodation processes, including manager coaching and risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of ADA, PWFA, FMLA, PUMP Act, and relevant state laws.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in the client's industry.
  • Creative problem-solving and excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience drafting legally sensitive HR correspondence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace accommodation requests, ensuring compliance and employee-centered outcomes.
  • Conduct analysis of accommodation requests and manage related correspondence.
  • Partner with managers, HR Business Partners, and legal counsel to implement reasonable accommodations.
  • Monitor and follow up on accommodation cases, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
  • Partner with Sr. HR Consultant and vendors to develop and maintain Affirmative Action Plans and complete required reporting.
  • Provide compliance guidance and training to Recruiters and HR on Talent Acquisition matters.
  • Fulfill internal ad hoc data requests and maintain tracking databases for reporting and trend analysis.
