Summary: The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner, Level 1,
Part-Time role, supports assigned client groups by acting as a business partner demonstrating expertise in interpreting and administering policies and procedures covering multiple functional areas such as employee relations, performance management, terminations, new hire orientations, etc. The position assists with the communication, and implementation of organizational policies, ensuring that they comply with local, state, and federal labor laws. The position leads and/or supports special projects impacting the larger organization and drives continuous process improvements.

* Partner with managers and employees across assigned client groups to provide HR guidance, coaching, and solutions that support employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
* Serve as a trusted resource for employee and manager inquiries, resolving issues and conducting employee relations investigations in a fair, objective, and timely manner.
* Support managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee development, conflict resolution, organizational changes, and offboarding.
* Coordinate and administer HR processes and programs, including employee documentation, unemployment claims, exit interviews, workers compensation, ADA and other HR operational activities.
* Support benefit administration, performance, compensation, and talent management processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals.
* Facilitate employee onboarding, training, and other learning and development initiatives that enhance employee effectiveness and engagement.
* Maintain employee records and sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices while partnering with leadership and legal counsel as appropriate.
* Participate in and lead HR projects, process improvement initiatives, workforce analytics, and other activities that enhance employee experience and support business objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications: - Associate degree in Human Resources or related field of study AND
- Two (2) years human resources generalist experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

- Must be able to work some evenings/weekends required if business needs dictate
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint; Basic proficiency with UltiPro or other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); Web proficiency
