POSITION SCOPE

We are seeking a bilingual and enthusiastic, people-focused HR Business Partner – Onboarding Specialist to join our growing HR team in our Tempe, AZ location. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating a positive onboarding experience for new members of the growing Fisher Team. The successful candidate will efficiently manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring a seamless and positive transition into the company. You will serve as a key resource for new hires and hiring managers, providing guidance, resources, and support throughout the onboarding process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-End Onboarding: Orchestrate all new hire coordination, including offer paperwork, Form I-9 verification, pre-employment screenings, and equipment readiness.
  • Communication Lead: Serve as a dedicated point of contact for new hires and hiring managers, providing "white glove" service and initiative-taking updates on onboarding status.
  • Bilingual Orientation: Facilitate engaging orientation sessions and deliver company policy introductions in both English and Spanish
  • Compliance & Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous records in our onboarding trackers and HRIS, ensuring 100% adherence to federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with leaders to ensure role-specific materials and resources are prepared for a new hires' s start date.
  • HR Support: Assist the broader HR Team with day-to-day administration of the department and assist with HR projects and reporting as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive company and employee information.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Language Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.
  • Proven Experience: 2+ years in Human Resources, with strong emphasis on onboarding, employee relations, or talent coordination.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Construction or Manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to a faced-paced environment with willingness to support various HR functions with ability to work overtime and participate in overnight/weekend travel when needed or directed.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability utilizing Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required
