Job Description

The HR Business Partner Manager – Global Functions is a people leader role responsible for leading, developing, and governing HR Business Partner (HRBP) delivery across Global Functions. This role ensures consistent, high quality HR partnership, strong adherence to the HR Operating Model, and effective translation of enterprise HR strategy into scalable execution.

The role serves as a key connector between HR strategy and HRBP execution, strengthening HRBP capability, reinforcing role clarity, and ensuring predictable, professional HR support for senior leaders across the Global Functions.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting Global Functions
  • Set clear performance expectations; provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development support
  • Build HRBP capability as work shifts toward more complex, judgment‑based, and advisory HR support
  • Reinforce adherence to the HR Operating Model, including clear role boundaries between HRBP, Country HR, People Care, and COEs
  • Address role ambiguity, scope creep, and inconsistent practices across Global Functions support
  • Drive consistency in HRBP ways of working while allowing for nuance where necessary
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex people matters requiring experienced HR judgment
  • Translate enterprise and Global HR and Global Function L1 priorities into clear, actionable guidance for HRBPs
  • Ensure HRBPs are aligned and prepared prior to change rollout to business stakeholders
  • Partner closely with HR leaders, COEs, Country HR, and People Care to ensure seamless end‑to‑end HR support
  • Identify systemic issues impacting HR delivery and recommend improvements to governance, processes, or capability
  • Balance HRBP workload, coverage, and prioritization to ensure sustainable delivery and impact
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, global organization
  • Strong understanding of HR operating models, shared services, and global HR governance
  • Experience supporting many different client groups across HPE
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience leading HR teams through organizational or operating model transformation
  • Experience driving consistency across global or multi‑regional HR teams
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong HR judgment and ability to manage complex, sensitive people issues
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear expectations and execution
  • Effective coaching, feedback, and talent development skills

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 135,500 - 275,000 in California // 119,500 - 275,000 in Texas. The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
