Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon has partnered with a Burlington organization known for its innovative carpet‑cleaning systems, advanced odor‑removal technologies, high‑performance air‑filtration products, and rapid‑response water‑damage restoration services to recruit for an HR Business partner.


Under general supervision, this HR Business Partner/Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for assisting in the daily functions of the Human Resource department including talent acquisition and employee support, while aligning HR practices with business objectives. This position will provide functional expertise in administration and coordination of HR systems, employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, and supporting all areas of human resources to support business operations.


What you get to do:

  • Oversee and conduct all aspects of recruiting and staffing logistics including recruiting strategy, interviewing, hiring and follow-up.
  • Manage and conduct the company onboarding process for new hires.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement based on noted trends.
  • Create, edit and reformat legal job descriptions, as needed.
  • Create and revise candidate interview guides utilizing job descriptions and manager’s needs.
  • Assist in implementing and administrating policies, plans and procedures for all company employees.
  • Recommend ways for the company to improve employee relations.
  • Assist EVP of HR in managing employee leave administration and maintain continuous knowledge and expertise on all federal and state leave requirements.
  • Keep current on knowledge of federal and state employment regulations and make recommendations to EVP of HR for updating policy and systems as required.
  • Participate in developing new approaches, systems, and procedures to effect continual improvements to efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Conduct HR related studies, prepare reports, and maintain metrics for HR and Executive Management.
  • Assist EVP of HR in compensation studies.
  • Work with EVP of HR in creating department budget.
  • Travel to other locations as needed.
  • May assist with internal investigations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 


What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrated experience using an HRIS (Oracle ATS preferred) to manage recruitment workflows, candidate tracking, and reporting.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum seven years of broad HR experience required.


Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM


Pay: $80,000 - $97,000 (DOE)
