We are seeking an experienced Leave of Absence/Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our team in a fully onsite capacity. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of LOA experience, with workers' compensation experience highly preferred. This role requires strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
In this role, you will administer and support Leave of Absence/FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, Workers' Compensation, STD, and LTD programs, ensuring compliance with organizational policies as well as state and federal laws. You will serve as a subject matter expert for LOA and disability-related programs, resolving issues efficiently and providing guidance to employees and management.
Essential Responsibilities
Administer LOA programs including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, STD, LTD, and related policies.
Support the Workers' Compensation process and maintain compliance with state regulations.
Assist in the Interactive Process and Alternative Duty Program.
Ensure consistent application of leave policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide accurate information, support, and updates to employees and leaders.
Prioritize, multitask, and manage high-volume workflows in a team-oriented environment.
Interact professionally and constructively with staff at all levels.
Demonstrate reliability by consistently being at work and on time.
Uphold organizational values through integrity, accountability, compassion, and teamwork.
Other duties as assigned.
2–5 years of FMLA/LOA administration experience required
Workers' compensation experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform well in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Associate degree or two years of college preferred
CEBS designation preferred
