Join our team at Darling’s Auto Group as we seek to add an HR Benefits Coordinator to our Human Resources department to assist in providing support to our 650+ employees.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct new hire onboarding, background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Process benefit enrollments, IRS qualifying life events, and COBRA
- Weekly payroll processing
- Reconcile monthly billings from insurance providers
- Process monthly billings from insurance providers
- Process and administer leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork, including PFML, FMLA, STD and LTD
- Workers’ Comp reporting and compliance
- OSHA reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all employees
- Working knowledge of employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Ability to explain common benefit concepts to employees
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in managing employee, payroll, and benefits information
- Maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Experience with UKG Ready HRIS and payroll software is a plus!
