Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Bernardino, CA. This role is ideal for a Human Resources or administrative professional who enjoys supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, and day-to-day HR operations.
The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team to help maintain accurate employee information, support candidates and new hires, and ensure HR processes are completed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced administrative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruiting activities, including job postings, resume review, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, employee records, HR files, employment verifications, and personnel changes.
- Help coordinate benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, trainings, meetings, and orientations.
- Support payroll processes by reviewing timecards, employee data, and related documentation for accuracy.
- Prepare HR reports, maintain confidential information, and help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: San Bernardino, CA.
