Primary Role:
Provide assistance and support to the HR Department to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the central office. They act as a central point of contact, supporting both employees and management across various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
HR experience preferred (school or nonprofit setting a plus)
Knowledge of HR systems and compliance requirements preferred
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring all documentation and hard copies are properly uploaded and stored in TalentED
Assist employees and administrators with HR-related inquiries and processes
Provide guidance and support related to Workers' Compensation, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, and FMLA
Assist with employment, licensure, and background verification requests
Track and support H-1B employees to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations and deadlines
Assist with HR census preparations and audits
Coordinate and manage HR department calendar events, deadlines, and compliance timelines
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation coordination
Assist with benefits administration and annual enrollment processes
Support policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations
Collaborate with leadership to support employee relations initiatives
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned to support department operations
