The Houseperson / Bellhop is a versatile and essential member of the Rustler Lodge guest services team, supporting front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation to ensure every aspect of the guest experience runs smoothly and seamlessly. From welcoming guests with a lodge tour at check-in to providing nightly turndown service, handling luggage, clearing snow, and shuttling guests through the Alta and Snowbird area, this role touches nearly every part of the lodge operation and directly delivers on the Rustler's commitment to "service above all." This position is well-suited to a hardworking, adaptable, and genuinely guest-focused individual who takes pride in doing whatever it takes to ensure every Rustler Lodge guest feels pampered, welcomed, and at home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Show up on time, in uniform ready to work
• Assist Front Office staff with guest check-in and check-out procedures, including lodge tours
• Luggage handling
• Snow and garbage removal
• Light maintenance
• Assist with laundry, housekeeping, and public area cleaning
• Provide nightly turndown service
• Valet parking
• Shuttle service in the Alta/Snowbird area
• Assist guests with questions and requests
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be 21 years old
• Quality interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
• Must be able to stand and shovel snow for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Work Schedule

• Exact shift times may vary, employees assigned a variety of shifts throughout the week: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm; 4:00 pm – 12:00 am; 8:00-11:00am and 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Some ski time available most days depending on shifts
• Weekend and Holiday work required
• No vacation as this is a seasonal position

Accommodations

• Both live out and live-in positions available
• For live in positions, onsite housing available in shared dormitory style rooms. Bi weekly room and board charge of $125 includes three meals a day
• Meals provided while on shift for live out employees
• Ski pass included
