A Houseman/Maintenance is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting room attendants, delivering supplies, and ensuring guests experience a clean, organized, and comfortable environment throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, stairways, elevators, and public restrooms
2. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and polish fixtures
3. Remove trash and replace liners in public areas
4. Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest supplies to floors
5. Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area
6. Assist with moving beds or furniture when needed
7. Restock housekeeping carts and storage rooms
8. Deliver guest requests (extra beds, cribs, rollaway beds, amenities)
9. Handle light maintenance reporting (report damages or safety issues)
10. Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies
11. Ensure storage areas remain clean and organized
12. Performs minor equipment
13. Maintains lighting (Changing bulbs, ballasts as )
14. Works closely with maintenance supervisor to develop more in-depth knowledge/s kills.

Qualifications

1. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus
2. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg)
3. Good physical stamina and attention to detail
4. Basic communication skills

Job Type

1. Full-Time position.
2. Variable-hour
3. Sundays are required
4. Work rotating schedules including, evenings, weekends and holidays
