About the Role:
Glacier International Lodge is seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseman to join our team immediately. The Houseman plays a key role in supporting housekeeping operations by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting room attendants, and helping ensure every guest enjoys a clean and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas and guest rooms.
- Assist with room set-up and breakdown for events and meetings.
- Restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the lodge.
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
