This is an execution-focused role, not administrative. The right candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, stepping in where needed, and helping ensure the household and property operate smoothly—particularly when the principals or guests are in residence.
Training and onboarding will be provided by the Executive Housekeeper and Estate Manager.
The Houseman / Estate Operations Assistant plays a key support role across household operations, light exterior upkeep, vendor coordination, errands, and guest readiness. You will be a trusted member of the household team, helping take tasks off leadership’s plate while maintaining a polished, well-functioning estate environment and supporting the housekeeping team when needed.
Provide hands-on support to the Executive Housekeeper with indoor household needs as required
Assist and take charge of exterior and light outdoor upkeep, including care of outdoor furniture, cushions, windows (interior and exterior), and pressure washing
Bicycle, equipment, and shared-use items
Coordinate with vendors, schedule services, and follow up as needed
Run errands including warehouse runs, supply pickups, and occasional office or lunch runs
Support guest stays and assist when guests are in residence
Assemble household items and furniture as needed
Maintain organization of storage areas and warehouse spaces
Order supplies and complete basic expense reporting
Assist with pet-related needs (dog in the home)
Step in as needed to support overall estate operations
This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Full-time, live-out position
More than 40 hours per week, especially during peak season (November - April)
