What Will You Do
Help train and manage all room, house, and public area team members. Provide training to team members on a regular basis, identify areas of improvement and efficiency. Ensure stay-over and vacant attendant service is consistently performed by room attendants. Inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces. Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
More About You
At least 1 year of housekeeping supervisory experience in a resort or hotel required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards • Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems preferred • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Physical requirements: frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing and washing duties. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
