JOB SUMMARY:
Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest Integrity of the Environmental Services Department. |
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner. Includes buffing floors as needed. |
WORK HOURS: Rotating shifts from four to eight hours with some overtime when required
WORKERS SUPERVISED: HK-1, HK-2, HK-Surgery Attendant
SUPERVISED BY: Assistant Manager, Department Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION- Must be able to read and write.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE - Job requires previous supervisor experience and current hospital experience is desired. The employee will complete an orientation program of sufficient duration and content to prepare them for specific duties; One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
JOB KNOWLEDGE - Job requires employee to perform tasks and assignments under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and/or Department Director. Is expected to analyze situations and act within the scope of standard procedures.
