Housekeeping Supervisor Hotel Canandaigua
Midas Hospitality is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the beautiful Hotel Canandaigua. This role supports both the housekeeping department and event operations, helping ensure our hotel consistently delivers award-winning cleanliness and exceptional guest experiences. Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, this position oversees daily housekeeping operations of all spaces within the hotel, to include rooms, public areas, and event spaces, while also assisting with the setup and breakdown of banquet and event spaces.
What You Will Be Doing
• Housekeeping Supervision • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces • Assign daily work based on vacant and stayover room lists • Ensure housekeeping standards are met to brand company and guest expectations • Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment • Assist with monthly inventory and inventory control • Secure and manage housekeeping maid and guest room keys • Assist with cleaning inspections and laundry services as needed • Document and communicate maintenance issues to the maintenance department
Banquet & Event Space Support
• Oversee and assist with setup and breakdown of banquet and event spaces • Ensure all event rooms are clean, properly set, and ready before and after events • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of event spaces and storage areas • Empty waste receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness of function areas • Assist in maintaining clean and organized storage and equipment areas • Ensure accurate room setups per event orders and hotel standards
Event & Team Coordination
• Check room setups prior to events to ensure accuracy and readiness • Be aware of upcoming groups, events, and conventions • Complete banquet setup and breakdown as needed • Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management
What Were Looking For
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can supervise and motivate team members. Strong communication and time-management skills are also essential. Prior hotel housekeeping and/or banquet experience is preferred.
