Position Description: The Housekeeping Porter will be responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas to keep public spaces neat and tidy. Staff shall adhere to all company and departmental employment policies regarding security and confidentiality. May be asked to perform other duties as needed to support operational needs. Sedalia Housekeeping will require Saturdays as part of the schedule

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be physically able to carry, reach, push and pull items
• Must be able to see, hear, read, and write
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time without device assistance

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required
• Ability to learn and practice cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees and patients.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction
