Housekeeper

A lovely family with four school-age children is hiring a full-charge, hands-on Housekeeper for a full-time, year-round position based in Wellington, Florida. For a few months the role will be based in Palm Beach, FL while a renovation is completed on the family's residence. This Housekeeper will work as part of a collaborative household team in the family's new residence.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper who takes ownership of their work, maintains exceptional standards, and is equally comfortable working independently and alongside other team members in a fully staffed home
Immediate in-person interviews. Optimal start date is mid-July to mid-August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry, linen care, and household organization to the highest standards.
- Help maintain a smooth daily operation and communicate proactively regarding household needs, preferences, or maintenance concerns.
- Work closely with the household team to ensure seamless coverage, consistent standards, and an orderly, guest-ready home.
- Assist with household inventories, supply management, and routine provisioning as needed.
- Support weekend coverage as part of a shared team rotation.
- The ability to travel to other family homes for 3-4 weeks per year is a big plus.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar private household or luxury hospitality environment (boutique hotel, yacht, etc.).
- Excellent, verifiable references.
- Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a household team.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent standards, discretion, and a service-minded approach.
- Must have strong English communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a home with two large dogs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Schedule
- Generally, five days per week with two consecutive days off. (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat)
- All team members assist with weekend coverage.
- Daytime hours with some flexibility for early evening coverage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience.
