Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Director of Environmental Services to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
- Routine laundry assignemnts in resident living areas.
- Maintain laundry supplies for daily tasks.
- Ensure adequate supply of clean linens, perform day-to-day laundry functions as assigned.
- Collect, sort and weigh soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and place in appropriate containers or assigned areas.
- Sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc. and separate those items that require special stain removal/treatment.
- Press/iron garments as necessary.
- Fold, count stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry, linen, garments, etc. to residents daily.
