Housekeeper (HNW Family)

Hourly: $45 – $55 per hour 
 

Schedule: Full-time; 5 days per week with travel required [on average 2 times per month] to Larchmont, NY Monday – Friday with flexibility to work occasional evenings and/or weekends.

Hours: 40 hours guaranteed Additional overtime
Compensation: Yearly earnings are approximately $95,000 - $115,000, based on a 40 hour week. 

Benefits: PTO, Sick Days, Paid Federal Holidays, and potential for Health Benefits stipend, and travel reimbursements.  
 

Position Summary

An experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper is needed to oversee the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of three NYC apartments (one large, two smaller) and a private home in Larchmont, NY for a private family. This role requires exceptional cleaning standards, strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently while providing hands-on household support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to maintain multiple residences to the highest standard.


Responsibilities

NYC Residences (4–5 Days per Week)

  • Main Apartment: Full cleaning, daily upkeep, and organization of a 4-bedroom apartment (primary residence). Minimum 2.5 days/week.
  • Second Apartment: Cleaning and maintenance of a 2-bedroom apartment, including care of a resident cat. Minimum 1 day/week.
  • Third Apartment: Cleaning and upkeep of a studio apartment. Minimum 0.5 day/week.
  • General NYC Support: Run errands, restock supplies, communicate with superintendents, and provide flexible household support across all apartments. Minimum 0.5 day/week.
  • Perform scheduled deep cleaning (floors, windows, high-touch surfaces, delicate items).
  • Laundry & Linen Care: Launder, iron, organize, and properly store household linens.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and replenish household supplies and cleaning products across all NYC residences.

Larchmont Residence (Approx. 2 Days per Month)

  • Twice-monthly visits to the Westchester home.
  • Communicate with vendors and workers for routine upkeep and special projects.
  • Clean and oversee the home when the regular part-time housekeeper is away.
  • Collaborate with the part-time housekeeper to maintain consistent standards.
  • Conduct inspections and coordinate household supplies specific to the property.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in private or high-end residences.
  • Strong references verifying reliability, discretion, and quality of work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in luxury environments.
  • Hands-on, flexible, and comfortable performing all cleaning tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with vendors, building staff, and homeowners.
  • Pet-friendly, with experience maintaining a clean environment around animals.
  • Willing to travel to Larchmont, NY twice per month.
  • Reliable transportation or ability to commute. 
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Valid work authorization and valid driver’s license.
