We are recruiting positive, happy, and reliable Housekeeper Laundry Aide to join our team!

As a Housekeeper at Evansville Manor you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of those in our care.

Position: Part-time Housekeeper

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Work Days:

• Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday, Thursday, and Friday

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, bathrooms, dining areas, and other facility spaces.
• Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions.
• Properly label and dispose of infectious waste bags and containers.
• Follow all facility cleaning protocols and infection control procedures.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Carry out responsibilities in compliance with Eden’s Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and all applicable laws and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in housekeeping/laundry is a plus
• Previous experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting is preferred
• Basic reading and writing skills appropriate to the role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, family members, and team members.
• Familiarity with infection control practices.
• Courteous, patient, and respectful demeanor.
