Position Title: Household Income Verification Specialist
(Formery known as Community Eligibility Provision Intake Specialist)

Job Summary
Household Income Verification Specialist supports the implementation and administration of the
district's household income for Public Schools and Non Public Schools by coordinating student
eligibility intake, maintaining accurate data records, ensuring compliance with federal and state
regulations, and serving as a liaison between families, schools, and community partners. The
position combines clerical expertise, data management, customer service, human services, and
community engagement to ensure eligible students have equitable access to the Title I program.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
? Demonstrated clerical and administrative office skills.
? Strong data entry, data management, and data analytics skills with a high degree of
accuracy.
? Experience working with confidential records and maintaining data integrity.
? Knowledge of student information systems, databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft
Office applications, particularly Excel.
? Experience in human services, customer service, education, social services, or
community relations preferred.
? Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
? Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families,
school personnel, and community agencies.
? Demonstrated commitment to providing equitable, responsive, and professional
customer service.
? Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA, district policies, and
applicable federal and state regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are representative of the responsibilities assigned to this position.
Additional duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of Federal Funds, (Title I).
? Coordinate the daily intake, collection, review, and processing of Alternate Household
eligibility documentation and related student information.
? Work Closely with District FACSS, and School Based FACSS, District Parent Liason
? Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district policies,
the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and applicable federal and
state regulations.
? Process and reconcile direct certification data received from state agencies and district
student information systems.
? Review student enrollment and eligibility information to ensure accurate identification of
students qualifying under Community Eligibility Provision guidelines.
? Enter, verify, audit, and maintain data within district databases and student information
systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
? Generate reports, spreadsheets, and statistical data to support program compliance,
reimbursement, and district decision-making.
? Monitor program deadlines and assist in completing required federal, state, and district
reports in a timely manner.
? Serve as a resource for school administrators, office personnel, families, and community
agencies regarding CEP procedures and eligibility requirements.
? Provide courteous and professional customer service while responding to inquiries from
parents, guardians, staff, and community members.
? Collaborate with Enrollment Services, Student Services, Food Service, Information
Technology, and other district departments to ensure accurate student eligibility
information.
? Assist with outreach efforts to increase the completion of the Alternate Household Form
? Maintain organized electronic and paper records to support state and federal audits,
administrative reviews, and compliance monitoring.
? Identify data discrepancies and work collaboratively with appropriate departments to
resolve issues promptly.
? Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents related to CEP
operations.
? Recommend improvements to procedures that enhance efficiency, data accuracy,
customer service, and regulatory compliance.
? Build and maintain positive working relationships with students, families, district staff,
and community partners.
? Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Federal Funds (Title I)
