Position Summary:
The House Supervisor provides leadership, coordination and integration of healthcare services, and supervises safety and quality of care. The house supervisor has hospital administrative responsibility in the absence of regular leadership, including serving as incident commander in times of disaster and mass casualty incidents. Additional responsibilities include the management of patient flow throughout the hospital, incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of overall patient care delivery at the departmental level to ensure that patients and families receive optimum care.
