ECU Department of Internal Programs - Global Academic Initiatives in conjunction with

ITCS Academic Technologies is currently seeking student workers to provide technical

support for the Global Understanding (GU) program. Responsibilities include:

  • Attending assigned GU courses each class day and providing support to those classes

including making computers available, establishing videoconferencing links, helping

students with chatting programs, and troubleshooting when challenges arise.

  • Working with international partners to coordinate, test, and troubleshoot technology to be

used for the Global Understanding course.

Successful candidates should be reliable and willing to learn, self-motivated, able to

provide good customer service, and have good problem solving and communication

skills. Training for the technology and support procedures/processes will be

conducted before the semester starts.

GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0 Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

Experience or interest in interacting and working with people from other countries/cultures.
