Previous experience perferred, but not required.
Routinely perform all laundry room duties necessary, including stripping beds, ensuring washing of linens on proper formula setting, proper drying and folding procedures to ensure quality linen.
• Assists with maintenance and upkeep of all laundry equipment.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties on laundry equipment to ensure proper maintenance (lint removal, filter cleaning etc.).
• Develop new methods to increase laundry efficiency and linen use.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and supervisor on outstanding repairs on laundry equipment.
• Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement.
A housekeeper/ laundry attendant is responsible for the daily cleaning of public rooms (lobbies, corridors, meeting rooms), private guest rooms and public bathrooms, and the laundering of linens.
