Victory Tap (Coming Soon - Summer 2026) We are seeking a friendly and well-organized Host to welcome our guests, manage the seating floor, and thoroughly complete additional duties as assigned by MOD.
Responsibilities: - Warmly welcomes and greets guests upon arrival; ensures a smooth flow at the entrance and throughout the restaurant at all times
- Makes guests feel comfortable while waiting; escorts them to the bar or directly to their table
- Takes part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and responds confidently to guest inquiries
- Exhibits familiarity with menus items and ingredients
- Answers phone calls and provides information on reservations, availability, restaurant hours and services
- Ensures proper levels of stationary are maintained in reception area at all time
- Interacts with guests as they leave the restaurant to ensure a memorable experience
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of hosting experience at upscale, reputable restaurants
- Genuine enthusiasm for hosting, dedicated to fostering an atmosphere where guests experience enjoyment, ease, and connection.
- Natural conversational skills, adept at engaging with guests in a relaxed manner.
- Demonstrated integrity and quick decision-making ability.
- Clear and articulate communication skills, both in person and over the phone, ensuring callers receive information with courtesy and a composed demeanor.
