Walkers Bar & Market is a new central Dallas neighborhood restaurant, sandwich shop, and market built around the personalities and values of its namesake, and experienced through Intentional Hospitality. The restaurant is upbeat, stylish, and sophisticated with elevated European-American cuisine, classic cocktails, and a dynamic wine program focused on classic regions and grape varieties. Adjacent to the restaurant is a bustling sandwich counter, chic wine shop, and quaint upscale market.
Our mission is to inspire community, guests, and team members through an unparalleled passion for hospitality. Creating an incomparable guest experience via simple, well-executed menu items, delicious wine, and fun inviting interiors imparts an opportunity to make magic. This magic is the spark that keeps our love for hospitality and the joy of making others feel wonderful and welcome alive.
Walkers is built on the belief that hospitality is a craft, not a checklist. We are designing systems that challenge the habits of this industry to create something more thoughtful, human, and consistent. Every detail of how we operate is intentional and constantly refined.
We are building a team of people who want more than repetition and are driven by curiosity and the desire to grow. We believe that it is cool to care; care about the work, the details, the guest, and the people standing next to you. We are building a team of leaders driven by compassion and empathy with an eye for detail and excellence.
The life of the party! Our ideal candidate for a host knows how to curate the guest experience; planning every pre-party detail from who the guests are, where the guests will be seated, who they ll be seated around, and when. A great host knows how to be adaptable, understanding that not everything goes the way that we planned and is able to adjust so that the guest experience is not negatively affected. The ideal candidate is friendly and can set the tone for the night. The first and last person the guest sees, the host plays a pivotal role and bookends the guest experience.
