Hospitality Supervisor (Seasonal)
Location: Saratoga Race Track – Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Job Overview:
The Hospitality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations across dining venues at the Saratoga Race Track, ensuring welcoming, organized, and efficient service. This role supports staff, manages guest flow, and upholds hospitality standards across multiple dining locations. The Hospitality Supervisor plays an important leadership role in maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
We are looking for someone who is available to work the full summer season at the Saratoga Race Track.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to host and hostess teams.
Oversee host/hostess uniform and dress code compliance, ensuring all team members are properly equipped and presentable.
Manage staff scheduling needs, including time-off requests, call-outs, and timecard accuracy.
Assist staff with questions, service challenges, and guest concerns.
Dining Room Operations
Oversee dining room setup, table numbering, and guest flow management.
Ensure host stations and guest areas are stocked, organized, and presentable.
Monitor and identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with facilities.
Assist with special access requests and day-to-day operational problem-solving.
Collaboration & Communication
Coordinate with restaurant managers, food service partners, and internal teams to support daily goals.
Communicate operational needs, guest issues, and seating challenges to supervisors.
Participate in pre-service preparation and ensure alignment across all service partners.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory or hospitality role preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic office software, including Microsoft Office, preferred.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
High-energy hospitality environment with continuous guest interaction.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Requires weekend and holiday availability during the racing season.\
