We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Supervisor of House at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI

The Supervisor of Nursing is a professional Registered Nurse who, under the direction of a manager or Director, assist with daily responsibility for the coordination, leadership and the development of personnel and operations. Assumes leadership responsibility in the manager or director's absence.
HOURS: Part-time/Benefit Eligible or 0.6 FTE, 48 hours per pay period. Night shift (with flexibility to cover day shift when necessary) with weekend and holiday rotation required
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Maintains education and specialty certification requirements specific to the department scope of service.
Previous experience beneficial.
Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
Registered Nurse role at the Stevens Point Campus may be required to obtain additional pyxis training for restocking the pyxis.
