Local Team Collaboration

Join our local team of 5 hospital medicine physicians plus a medical director. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital medicine. Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement. Outside of work we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified, eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
  • Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.
  • Proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists licensing and credentialing support. All required HHS filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
  • Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on 7-days-off rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing inpatient care to a small acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with vent management but are not required to do procedures.

Expand your impact by overseeing multiple practices as a System Medical Director Regional Medical Director or Regional Chief Medical Officer. These roles involve strategic leadership mentoring physician leaders and driving performance across a region.
