Job Title: Hospital Inpatient Pharmacist – 13-Week Contract
Location: Peridot, AZ
Shift: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Housing: Provided – Located Directly Across the Street from Hospital
Start Date: 2 weeks from offer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a respected hospital in Peridot, AZ for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in hospital pharmacy  and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a rural community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and dispense medications for inpatients in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.

  • Ensure accurate medication preparation, labeling, and delivery.

  • Conduct medication therapy reviews and monitor patient outcomes.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on medication management and patient care plans.

  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations and safety standards.

  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and checking for expired drugs.

  • Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility for reciprocal licensing).

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

  • 1-2 years of hospital inpatient experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Strong communication and clinical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
