Ideal Candidate
Has to be an experienced CNO, ACNO or high level surgical services leader. Someone with for profit and physician owned experience is highly preferred. Someone with a surgical background. Someone who is very hands on. Someone who is good with technology and data. Someone who has strong RN background and systems thinking. Someone who is detailed oriented. Someone who strives for excellence.

Southwest Oklahoma City and the surrounding communities including Blanchard, Moore, Newcastle, Norman, Mustang and Tuttle. Community Hospital’s north campus celebrated the opening of its new facility in 2016 and offers inpatient and outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging and direct access to physician offices. The north campus in conveniently located along the Broadway Extension near Britton Rd. and provides easy access from north Oklahoma City, Edmond, Piedmont, Guthrie, Jones, Luther and Wellston.

The South campus has 31 inpatient beds, 8 OR’s, 3 PR’s, an ICU and an ER. The ER receives 5,500 patients annually. The North campus has 14 inpatient beds, 8 OR’s, 2 PR’s and an ER. The ER receives 10 patients per month. There are 27,000 surgical cases done annually across all facilities. Surgical specialties include Orthopedics, Spine, GI, General Surgery, Breast, GYN, Urology, Interventional Pain, ENT and a da Vinci Robot Program.

The ideal candidate for this role will either have Surgical Hospital or other Hospital Leadership experience.

  • Investigate complaints regarding patient care and nursing personnel in nursing services
  • Directing all nursing and patient care services within the hospital
  • Provide executive level leadership for nursing/patient care
  • Deliver and monitor quality nursing care services
  • Ensure that nursing standards of patient care and standards of nursing practice
  • Direct nursing services in all areas/departments where nursing care be provided
  • Organize and direct nursing team and patient care
  • Organize and administer nursing services at the hospital
  • Report directly to the chief executive officer
  • Develop the nursing budget in collaboration with nursing management and other hospital personnel
  • Develop nursing staffing plans for the hospital
  • Analyze nursing services to improve the quality of patient
  • Representing the nursing services at meetings
  • Represent the nursing services at meetings
  • Ensure nursing's strategic plan
  • Interpret nursing and patient care policies, objectives and standards for measurement and maintenance of quality nursing care
  • Provide leadership to nursing directors for all clinical departments
  • Organizing, developing and directing nursing services and ensuring the deliverance of quality nursing care
  • Participate in development of new patient care programs for expansion of nursing care services
