Position: Hospice House CNA FT 36
Location: Benton Franklin County
Type: Full Time Non-Exempt
Anticipated Schedule: 3x 12s 7pm-7am Rotating to include every other weekend.

Position Overview:
The Hospice House Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering personal care services to patients in the Hospice House, ensuring their physical and emotional comfort. The CNA is responsible for assisting hospice patients with daily living activities and providing support to ensure their comfort, dignity, and quality of life during the end-of-life journey. As a member of the interdisciplinary teams, the CNA provides patient care and supportive services in accordance with the individual plan of care. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
1.High School graduate or equivalent GED
2.Available to work evenings nights and weekends and flexible hours.
3.Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy's service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
4.This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
5.Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS)
6.(Hospice House) Washington State Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health
7.Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
8.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements
9.Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
10.Available to work holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
One year of CNA experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care settings.
.Experience working with patients with chronic, terminal, or end-of-life care needs.

Compensation
Hiring Range: $20.63/hour - $26.60/hour
$3000 Sign on Bonus: New hires are eligible to receive a $3,000 bonus upon successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment in good standing.

Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role.
Language Proficiency: Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
