Hospice Director of Nursing (DON) – RN Leadership

Seeking an experienced Hospice Director of Nursing, Hospice Clinical Director, or Hospice Clinical Manager ready to lead a growing hospice program.

The Director of Nursing will oversee all clinical operations, regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and patient care delivery while providing leadership to an interdisciplinary hospice team.

Responsibilities
Lead hospice clinical operations and patient care services
Supervise nursing staff and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and accreditation standards
Drive quality improvement and performance initiatives
Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
Mentor and develop clinical leaders and nursing staff
Partner with operations leadership to improve patient outcomes
Maintain high standards of hospice and end-of-life care
Resolve staff concerns and promote a positive clinical culture

Qualifications
Active Louisiana RN license
3+ years of RN experience
At least 1 year of hospice or home health direct patient care experience
Prior supervisory, management, or leadership experience
Experience with hospice operations, compliance, and quality initiatives preferred
Background as a Hospice Clinical Manager, Patient Care Manager, ADON, Director of Clinical Services, or Director of Nursing strongly preferred
