Position Summary

The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for oversight of all hospice clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, patient-centered care. This leader supports and mentors clinical staff while driving outcomes, regulatory excellence, and a strong agency culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for clinical services and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compassion
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top clinical talent
  • Drive quality metrics, survey readiness, and clinical performance outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and leadership team
  • Champion Pennant’s culture and CAPLICO values within the agency

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2+ years of hospice leadership experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and operations
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
  • Excellent organizational, clinical, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total compensation range of $140,000 – $160,000 annually, inclusive of base salary and performance-based incentives
