Job Description:

Hospice of Scotland County is searching for a Hospice and Palliative Care Medical Director to provide professional expertise as a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Leadership team, Physician will by oversee and supervise the medical aspects of the Hospice and Palliative Care program and act as a consultant and advisor to the Board of Trustees. Physician will work closely with the Executive Director and leaders of the Inpatient and Homecare Services and the Hospice interdisciplinary care team to provide high quality compassionate care. Physician will participate in community education and growth strategy for the service line and report to the Executive Director with oversight by the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland Health.
