Hospice Admissions Education RN Specialist

Empath Trustbridge Hospice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Admissions team as an Admissions Education Specialist Nurse in Broward county. In this role, you will support and develop team members throughout the hospice admissions process, ensuring excellence in patient care, staff competency, and compliance with clinical standards. The schedule will be 9:00am - 7:30pm

What youll Do

• Train, coach, and support Admissions and Business Development team members throughout the hospice admissions process
• Ensure competency, confidence, and clinical excellence of new and transitioning staff members during patient care initiation
• Design and deliver individualized onboarding and education programs grounded in adult learning principles
• Serve as a clinical and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) resource, providing bedside teaching, documentation guidance, and real-time problem-solving
• Collaborate with Organizational Development, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to promote regulatory compliance and high-quality admissions education

What Youll Need

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/management role, clinical preceptor, manager or mentor in a hospice setting preferred - OR - an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Strong and current nursing clinical skills required
• Expertise in home health, case management, hospice/palliative care, eligibility for services, pain and symptom management.
• Computer expertise and EMR documentation expertise, including an understanding of critical thinking and care planning process.
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver's license.
