Compensation (Southern California Market Competitive)
Automotive Sales Consultants in Southern California earn an average total compensation of $35,000 - $110,000+ annually, with high performers exceeding that range.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
- Assess customer vehicle needs through effective communication and active listening
- Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, including test drives
- Guide customers through pricing, financing introductions, and purchase paperwork
- Explain vehicle features, warranties, and delivery process to ensure satisfaction
- Follow up with prospects to generate repeat and referral business
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, self-motivated, and performance-driven mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required
- Valid California driver's license and insurability required
