Your Role as Home Manager
As a Home Manager, you will lead the daily operations of a residential care home, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care while supporting and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching to direct care staff
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance
- Ensure person-centered care and protection of resident rights
- Coordinate with clinicians, licensing representatives, and guardians
- Monitor and oversee medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Manage staff performance, training, and personnel records
- Maintain home budgets and financial accountability
- Act as a communication bridge between administration, staff, families, and community partners
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide direct care support as needed
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- College degree and/or relevant experience required
Leadership Experience:
- Prior supervisory experience in healthcare, residential, or social services
Direct Care Background:
- Minimum of 2 years working in a direct care setting
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active, hands-on duties
