Sarasota Memorial Home Care Location: Sarasota, FL Status: Full Time Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Home visits in assigned service area: Venice, FL Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The Home Health OT provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.
• Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Requirements and Certifications

• Required BLS or completion of BayCares Basic Resuscitation Course (BRC)
• Required Certifications and Licensures:
• Occupational Therapist State of Florida Licensure
• Basic Life Support
• Florida drivers license is required within 30 days of hire

Education and Experience

• Bachelors Occupational Therapy
• Preferred: Masters Occupational Therapy
• Experience: 1 year Occupational Therapy experience
• Preferred: 1 year Home Care experience
