Position Title: Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) & Medication Aide (MA)

What You Will Do
- Provide and/or assist with providing activities of daily living including dressing, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bathing, hair and nail care, oral hygiene, feeding according to the client's written plan of care.
- Provides basic therapeutic care including but not limited to measuring weight and vital signs, hot and cold applications and non-sterile dressings, ROM and assistance with medications according to client's written plan of care.
- Provides meal preparation, household and other duties assigned by client to facilitate the client's self-care at home and encourages client participation according to their ability.
- Observes and reports changes in the client's condition and problems to the nurse or supervisor according to agency procedure. Recognizes and reports unsafe conditions immediately to the nurse or supervisor.
- Assist nursing staff with public community services including but not limited to immunizations, foot care clinics, flu shots, set up and maintenance of home emergency response units.
What You Need
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and the state-required minimum automobile insurance coverage.
- This position requires successful completion of the 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and active certification on the Nebraska Registry
- This position requires successful completion of the 40-hour Medication Aide course and active certification on the Nebraska Registry
- BLS certified
- Must be at least 19 years old
