Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and resident rights.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience:
- Previous experience in home health, group home settings, or as a caregiver for seniors is preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
