What does a HHA PCA HMK do?
As a Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant PCA, or Home Maker HMK at Guardian Angel Senior Services, you can expect an engaging and fulfilling day-to-day experience.
Your primary responsibilities will include
- providing compassionate, dedicated, and attentive care to seniors in their homes.
- Personal Hygiene and Grooming- assist with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming and oral care while respecting privacy and dignity
- Mobility Support- Helping clients move safely, including transfers, walking, and using mobility aids or wheelchair
- Meal Prep & Nutrition- Preparing meals, assisting with feeding, and ensuring proper hydration and dietary compliance
- Medication Assistance- Reminding clients to take prescribed medications and in some cases assist with administration under supervision
- Light Household Tasks- perform basis household duties such as cleaning, laundry, tidying and running errands.
- Emotional and Social Support- Providing companionship, accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and offering emotional support
