Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read/write in English, reliable transportation, criminal background check, CPR certification, and completion of approved training or competency programs.
Responsibilities involve assisting with ADLs/iADLs, maintaining hygiene, preparing meals, supporting ambulation and treatments, taking vital signs, encouraging independence, documenting visits, reporting patient changes, and supporting therapy activities.
They also perform routine housekeeping, participate in team and QA activities, coordinate visits, and adhere to safety protocols.
Work involves travel, possible exposure to communicable diseases, and physical tasks like lifting.
