Position Overview:

Hope Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused individuals to join their team as Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) throughout Staten Island. In this rewarding role, caregivers provide essential daily support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and mobility support
  • Provide personal care assistance including shower, partial, or bed baths and assistance with commodes, bedpans, urinals, and ostomy-related care needs
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs and care plans
  • Provide medication reminders and support clients in following their care plans
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or wellbeing to nurses, supervisors, or family members
  • Support client safety through mobility assistance, fall prevention, safe transfers, and use of assistive devices
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping and laundry assistance
  • Offer companionship and emotional support by engaging clients in conversation and daily activities
  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times
  • Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members

Pay Range: USD $17.97 - USD $17.97 /Hr.
