Home Health Administrator - RN

Empath Home Health, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Home Health Administrator RN to provide strategic and operational leadership for our home health agency. This position is responsible for the overall management of agency operations, ensuring compliance with Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations, overseeing financial and billing processes, supporting staff development, and driving quality outcomes. The Home Health Administrator - RN serves as a vital leader, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement while ensuring exceptional care and support for the communities we serve.

Location: on-site at our Ocala, FL . The colleague will be required to travel to other Home Health office locations as needed.

What you'll Do

• Provide overall leadership and oversight for agency operations, ensuring compliance with AHCA regulations, policies, and standards.
• Lead, develop, and support staff through effective onboarding, training, continuing education, and performance management initiatives.
• Oversee client billing, invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and financial record management to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Maintain agency records, reports, and documentation, ensuring timely completion, retention, and submission as required by regulatory agencies.
• Promote a culture of quality, customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous performance improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership and travel to Home Health office locations as needed to support operational consistency and organizational goals.

What You'll Need

• FL licensed Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in a home health, private duty, healthcare, or related setting.
• Working knowledge of home health regulations and compliance requirements, including AHCA standards and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and financial management skills, with experience overseeing billing and business operations.
• Valid Florida Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams effectively, and foster a positive, patient-focused culture.
