Scheduling Coordinator – Home Care
Full-time | Flexible Schedule Location: FirstLight Home Care – Louisville, KY Schedule: Primarily weekdays with some evenings, weekends and rotating on-call responsibilities

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in matching caregivers with clients, managing schedules and helping ensure continuity of care for the individuals and families we serve.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure consistent client coverage
- Match caregiver availability and skill sets with client care needs
- Communicate schedule updates and staffing changes to caregivers and clients
- Respond to call-offs, schedule adjustments and urgent staffing needs
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and caregiver information in scheduling systems
- Build positive working relationships with caregivers, clients and office staff
- Assist with monitoring caregiver certifications, license renewals and compliance requirements
- Support follow-up on caregiver training deadlines and required documentation
- Assist with overtime monitoring and schedule management
- Participate in rotating on-call scheduling support, including some evenings and weekends
What You'll Bring
- 1 to 3 years of scheduling, staffing coordination or related experience
- Experience in healthcare, home care or a service-oriented environment preferred
- Working knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Strong communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
