BrightStar Care of Maple Grove & Andover is hiring an experienced visionary Home Care Clinical Director to lead Clinical Operations, drive agency growth, and champion high standards of care. We’re seeking a strategic, compassionate leader who empowers teams and elevates clinical excellence.

 Benefits for the Director of Nursing (RN)
Competitive Compensation $105,000-125,000k per year (total compensation comprised of base salary and quarterly bonuses, with consideration of experience and can-do attitude )

Key Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (RN)
Ensure regulatory excellence by maintaining and upholding current policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with Minnesota Department of Health and Joint Commission standards, including chart audits and ongoing quality assurance initiatives
Lead comprehensive clinical assessments, developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized care plans for both skilled and non‑skilled clients
Provide hands‑on clinical support as needed, including wound care, infusions, medication management, and occasional field visits
Participate in the on‑call rotation to support clients and clinical staff after hours, ensuring continuity and responsiveness
Oversee and support RN Case Managers, balancing caseloads, optimizing productivity, and fostering a collaborative clinical environment
Supervise, mentor, and coach nursing and caregiving staff, promoting professional growth and high‑quality care delivery
Plan and deliver in‑service education and training programs to strengthen clinical competency and compliance
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation, overseeing clinical records, reports, and data required for evaluation, reporting, and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
Stay current with evolving best practices in nursing and home health care, sharing updates and insights with the team
Build strong relationships within the healthcare community to promote home care referrals and support organizational growth


Qualifications We’re Looking For in Our Director of Nursing (RN)
Active, unrestricted Minnesota RN license
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a National League for Nursing–accredited program
Five years of clinical experience in home health, home care, or a related healthcare setting
A proactive, solutions‑focused, “can‑do” mindset that inspires confidence and teamwork
Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements, with a commitment to compliance
Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to guide, mentor, and support clinical staff
Exceptional nursing assessment and critical‑thinking skills
Commitment to professional standards of practice, quality improvement, and operational excellence
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
Reliable Transportation, Valid Driver's License, and Auto Insurance
